Hi Greenman, I really appreciate your help mate. I placed the Tab into USB debugging, No error in device manager and the Tab is recognised (when the OS is loaded) however not listed when in download mode. Also MTP is selected for the USB mode. Unfortunatelly still ODIN does not find the Tab in download mode only when the OS starts. Any other suggestions, maybe I need to wait when the OTA version is released if ever for Australia.

'Official' and 'root' are not words that should be seen together.

cf- autoroot for the SM-T805 6.01 is available:

last time I install the official android 6.01 (New zealand), now I want to root.
This website only support android 5.0 root.

As you will see in the cf-autoroot library, there is no 6.0.1 for the T800 at the moment.
Wait for Chainfire to provide the root file.

    Yes, after you have rooted.
SuperSu gives the access rights to your apps that need root.

Also available in the Play store:

    Oh, OK I understand.

SuperSU not a root tool, is an app. This can't help me to root the device.

    Ok, I understand. Thank you!!
