This post is for members who want to install a Marshmallow version on their G925F phone when their own phone is not offering the update.
In this example we will install the UK BTU android 6.0 firmware.
If this is not your preferred country then look here and choose the firmware that you want:

    2. Unzip the file to get a .tar.md5 file.
Put somewhere that you can find it - perhaps on the desktop.
    3. Download the PIT file
This one is also for BTU CPW DBT ITV KOR NEE XEF XEO

Unzip to get SM-G925F BTU pit
For other PIT files look here:

    4. Look at this install tutorial video:
NOTE: Firmware file (AP) only is flashed in this video
    5. Put the PIT file into PIT in Odin.
Put the firmware .tar.md5 file into AP of Odin
Set Odin tick boxes to Re-partition + F.Reset.time + auto Reboot
    6. Connect your phone in download mode to the PC
    7. When the ID:COM box in Odin changes colour press START.
    8. Odin will now flash the firmware. This will take about 10 minutes so be patient.
    9. On completion your phone will turn off and the firmware will install - again wait until it is finished and your phone reboots into startup screen.

To complete your transfer to the new firmware, put your phone into Recovery Mode, and wipe cache then wipe data/factory reset.
You will see android selecting and setting your new CSC code.
Your phone is now on Marshmallow and should receive future updates OTA.
