Thread: Flashing by odin always stuck at system.img (HELP)

    odin stuck in system.img for more than an hour
    what to do???
    i have updating firmware of samsung galaxy core 2 smg355h

    Model SM-G355H
    Model name GALAXY CORE2
    Country India
    Version Android 4.4.2
    Changelist 9485701
    Build date Wed, 12 Oct 2016 14:33:15 +0000
    Security Patch Level 2016-10-01
    Product code INS
    PDA G355HXXU0APJ3

    Disconnect from PC, as the firmware has not installed.
    Pull out battery and replace.
    Put phone into Recovery Mode to wipe cache then wipe data/factory reset.
    Put phone back into download mode and flash again.

    and not hardreset

    I tried to install firmware in samsung s4 9500 via odin but it failed at system.img

    Could be that the memory is failing and cannot be written to.

    But check:
    1. You are using an original quality usb cable and not a thinner USB charging cable.
    2. Connect directly to the PC USB port and not through a USB hub.
    3. Try another PC USB port.
    4. Try another Odin version.
    Odin 3.09 would be a good choice.

    Could indicate a failing memory if it cannot be written to.
    But check everything on post #16.

    Hi ^^
    Effectivly, employing usb hub make the work "auto-fail", surely a question of device addressing or reservation.
    I had to do some year ago the same experience on HTC flashing. " Fails on fails ! Ever !! "

    helpme.. my phone tab 2 p 5100. i install use odin and stuck in system img. please.. i have tried to firmware BTU. and not succesfull..
