So How can this firmware issue be solved?

I don't know why this is happening but the phone is not rooted.
And yes it was like this when I got it, didn't make any changes besides unlocking it. It was locked before.

    Under the battery it says.
    Model : G900F
    FCC ID: A3LSMG900F
    SSN: g900FGSMH
    And then there's the IMEI

    TMian,
You are in Pakistan, but the SM-G900F was not released there.
However, Pakistan does share firmware with the Middle East, and so you have the correct firmware CSC (OJV).

To give your phone the correct firmware then first of all install this XSG firmware that matches your phone baseband.

After flashing with Odin, factory reset from Recovery Mode.

Check, by dialling *#1234# that your firmware is
    PDA/AP: G900FXXU1ANCE
    Phone/CP: G900FXXU1ANCE
    CSC:
    G900FOJV1ANCD

If correct then you can install this latest firmware:

I'm going to try this but i wanted to ask you if it's safe? I mean i'm new to all this but i've heard people trying to flash stuff on their phone resulting the phone being dead. Is there a possibility for my phone being dead as well if i make a mistake during the process or anything?

Odin is the most reliable firmware installer, but installing any firmware is not without risk.
Follow the instructions and you should be OK.

Hey Greenman. So I downloaded the first file, it took a while but it got done. The install from odin was successful. I did the factory reset and everything, ran the *#1234# on it and it's all good. The AP, CP and CSC are all correct according to the ones you sent. I'm also downloading the Lollipop firmware now but the thing is that my phone's own software update started running and now it's 'Downloading Updates' . I dont know what it is, is it downloading lollipop on it's own or is it something else? Should I stop it? If yes then how? Because i click on the notifcation but nothing happens it just keeps on downloading and doesn't say what it is, just 'updates'.

Leave the OTA to carry out the update.
Your phone is back on track.

    I think my phone's dead now. :P
The download was complete then it said 'Your phone will restart and install updates'. It switched off and now it's blank. Not turning on, nothing on screen, no led on.

Give it a while as you will have nothing showing during the update as it is replacing your firmware.

    Has anything happened?
You should be getting an install/update bar.

If not, can you put the phone in download mode?
If you can, then install the latest firmware with Odin:

Thank God it's not dead. It installed the updates, optimized apps but it's still on 4.4.2. And it's downloading another 29mb update. I'll let you know when it all gets done. Thank you so much Greenman for helping with this problem.
