SGS2 upgrading/udating firmware only stops at setup connection.

i followed everystep of the way as instructed until it reaches the point where it says setup connection in odin3. during that time i waited for almost 3hrs and still no response frm odin3... which now my phone only shows a phone and a computer had been disconnected frm computer after the second try... please help me to solve this problem... i cudnt turn on the phone now...
