    Pit file failed ....it shows

    This looks like a process error.
    Check:
    1. You are using an original quality USB cable. the thinner charging cables are no good as they cannot transmit data.
    2. Connect directly to your PC USB port and not through a USB hub.
    3. Try another USB port.
    4. Try another Odin version.
    For the S3 Odin 1.85 is reliable.

    My note4 is messed up after flashing custom rom. I want to wipe everything and just make it as new. someone told me to try PIT file. help me on how to use it or any other way i can have my phone working normally

    First of all see if SmartSwitch will install your original firmware.
    Find your phone serial number then put phone in download mode and connect to SmartSwitch as in post #2 here:
