I flashed to this new firmware yest, and I am definitely happy with the improvements namely
    1) Faster UI
    2) Faster Lock/Unlock
    3) Very fast GPS fix outdoors(first time GPS lock less than 15s...amazing !!), still no lock indoor
    4) No crashes, or memory issues as of now
    5) All applications are working
    6) debug level by default set to low..(no need to manually set to low)

    Downsides:
    1) GPS lock indoors is not achievable..(may be time to accept that the hardware has a bug)
    2) Java controls still missing.

What exactly is GPS lock? Is it the one which tells location by opening the navigation app or the one which is available under location services in the settings?

I guess the fota over the air update for this firmware works only if you are from Germany which is the DBT region.

Yes, if they are installed in memory card. After flashing, reinstall your games and all your data will be back.
