You have the access to all system files now The android, the application root explorer is to the edition of files, amuse oneself and what you will see you can :-).
Application Tringleaway - you will reset the counter flash..
As you have a bit knowledge, you can modify The android, to throw out from the system applications which not play, to add different to the etc system.

I have a rooted S3 so let me tell you what I gain from that:

Applications from the Play Store that require root:

    1. Titanium backup - this alone is worth rooting your phone for.

With Titanium Backup you can :
    a) Uninstall or freeze apps on your phone in a batch.
System apps such as Google hubs, Samsung suggests, Chat on, can be removed or frozen so they no longer appear in your app drawer.
    Backup apps and data
    and many more things.

    2. Make and exact backup copy of your device (including firmware) with a nandroid.
As well as Titanium backup I use:
Online Nandroid Backup with Busybox to make the nandroid backup.

Nandroid manager to list my backups, restore the backup, and provide more information.

    3. PryFi - Randomises your MAC address to prevent you being tracked.
Not an essential app, but I like Chainfir's work

    4. ROM Manager - easy install of Custom Touch Recovery (CWMRecovery)
[ Login above or register to see download links. ]

5.Root explorer - file manager that will access the whole of your android file system.

    6. Superdownload - allows your mobile data to work with your wifi connection for a superfast download.

There are many more apps that come and go from my app list that can only work with root, but hopefully given you a taste of the benefits of root.

    don't forget BUSYBOx

BusyBox is a software application that provides many standard Unix tools, much like the larger (but more capable) GNU Core Utilities. BusyBox is designed to be a small executable for use with the Linux kernel, which makes it ideal for use with embedded devices.

Try rooting for yourself and see.
If you don't like a rooted phone, then install stockfirmware and root is gone.
