Which Firmware for Galaxy Note GT-N7000 please?

    Hi everyone.
I am new on here and looking for a little advice.
I want to restore my Note 1 back to ICS from JB but am not sure which selection to make in the list of UK firmware. There are 4 options: I am not UK Vodaphone or UK Orange. That leaves UK CPW and UK/Ireland XEU. My phone is unlocked and was purchased new in the UK from Amazon.
Any insight as to which of these is correct would be great.
    Thanks.
    Gary.

Oops, Sorry Greenman, just noticed you asked me to post those items.

    PRODUCT CODE: GT-N7000ZBAXEU
    PDA: N7000XXLT9
    CSC: N7000OXXLT3
And some extras for good measure
SALES CODE (AKA REGION CODE): XEU
    CSC COUNTRY: UK & IRE
    CSC COUNTRY ISO: GB
    BASEBAND VERSION: N7000XXLT3

Plenty of clues there and I reckon UK/IRE XEU might be the one!!
    What do you think?
    Thanks again.
    Gary.

    No problem

Your n7000 is on 'open' UK/Ireland XEU firmware and is up to date.

    See here for your firmware:

Upgrade or downgrade your firmware using Odin.

    Brilliant, thanks for that.
Does it matter if I use 4.0.3 or 4.0.4?
4.0.3 has a little Kies symbol next to it and 4.0.4 does not.
    Which is correct please?
    Thanks.
    Gary.

You can use any, the procedure is the same.
In my opinion android 4.0.4 was the better firmware for the N7000.

    That is good news.
I already have 4.0.4 saved on my desktop
I just tried to get 4.0.3 (in case you said to use that one) and was greeted with this: "DOWNLOAD: Hotfile has been shudown. A download link to Terafile.co will be presented as soon as the firmware is uploaded. We are busy uploading all files to the new host. We apologize for the inconvenience."
So, I will use the 4.0.4 that I already have.
It's been a pleasure chatting and thank-you very much for your amazingly quick replies.

    Just a quick update.
Thanks to Greenman and Sammobile and Odin, I have now reverted back to ICS from JB and the difference is amazing!! Everything is working so well.
I spoke to a phone salesman today and he said lots of people are coming to him with GT-N7000 problems after a JB update.
Lovely to have my phone back
    Thanks,
    Gary.
