It looks like your phone memory has failed.
Hi guys!
My Note 4 has an error message:
-------------------------------------------
Could not do normal boot.
dd : mmc_read failed
ODIN MODE (HIGH SPEED)
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N910F
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
REACTIVATION LOCK: OFF
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB)
AP SWREV: S1, T1, R1, A1, P1
SECURE DOWNLOAD : ENABLE
UDC START
Downloading...
Do not turn off target !!
-------------------------------------------
This message is forever on the screen. If I take the battery out and place it back into the phone after 30 seconds, sometimes the message will reappear, sometimes the phone will switch back on normally, but it was LAG SO MUCH, crash, restart.
Any ideas what's wrong?
Your memory has failed to be read.
Have you considered returning to a Samsung stock firmware?
SmartSwitch works on the stock Note 4 so give it a try using either post #2 or #3.

Hi I have the same issue where I get the no pit binary partition. I am on N910F on O2 (PDA:PD3 / CSC:PD1 / PHONE:PB1 (O2U)). There were times when the pit binary did flash correctly but i can't get to install the firmware.
The error i get are:
UDC Start
ODIN: Flash read failure
Error: There is no pit binary
ODIN: Flash read failure
Can I have a proper link to my firmware and the pit file. I have been trying with the 6.0.1 n910f firmware (o2). Thanks.
Hello, Thanks for the links and this is the only time it somewhat worked out. I got the following error:
UDC Start
Volume size is too big 163840 < 245760
ODIN: Invalid ext4 image
Tried the same thing second time and I got this error:
UDC Start
[1]eMMC write fail: ABOOT
Really appreciate all the help.
Hello Everyone, I am new member here can anyone please give me some information about the PIT file is it different for every Android version or can one file be used for every Android version like KK, LL & MM thanks in advance.
The PIT file is not always necessary to use.Quote:
If you do need a PIT file, then here on Sammobile they are extracted from the firmware that you are going to install.
The PIT is linked to the CSC code of the firmware
try flash pit file and Rom on Odin 1.85 Android+SLP version
