leapfrogg12,
Did you select Re-partition + F.Reset Time + Auto Reboot
Without the Re-partition instruction Odin will not activate the PIT file (which you need)

Thanks for the quick replay
Yes I did, That is was the failure I posted with the PIT and re-partition.
I am not sure I used the corresponding ROM. I tried with N910FXXU1BOD2_N910FEVR1BOD1_N910FXXU1BOC3_HOME.tar .md5
while I am downloading N910FXXU1DPL2_N910FBTU1DPL1_BTU.zip
leapfrogg12,
With your EE (EVR) firmware you would need the EE pit file here:

Thank you.
But it seems my phone is getting worst. I am not able to even boot into download or recovery.
I think it is hardware.
Probably,or not the phone model you think it is.Quote:
Was the mainboard repair carried out by Samsung?
I was able to flash using that PIT but the samsung logo just hangs forever.Quote:
Time for more drastic action.Quote:
1. Connect phone to Odin in Download mode
2. Put firmware file into AP of Odin
3. Select Nand erase all, F.Rest Time, Auto Reboot
On completion
4. Put into Recovery Mode to wipe cache then wipe data/factory reset.
5. Put firmware file into Odin and connect phone in download mode.
6. Flash firmware with F.Reset Time + Auto Reboot.
7. If in a bootloop again, put into Recovery Mode to wipe cache then wipe data/factory reset.
8. Reboot.

sir, is there any file for N9100 variant of note 4. All 4 files?
Not a repair firmware, but you could flash the N9100 TGY PIT file with the N9100 TGY firmware.Quote:

Set Odin to: Re-partition + F.Reset Time + Auto Reboot
Hi I seem to have a similar issue,
My phone is suffering from the MM freeze and re-boot issue which is fixed by Wakelock for me but in trying to fix my phone I seem to have broken it.
The phone came from China and was supposed to be new (I now suspect reconditioned FTM Orange). I thought that it may be a good idea to reinstall the firmware, just in case this fixed the re-boot issue. I reinstalled the firmware using Kies and it installed French (FTM) Orange MM. I then installed the November UK firmware using Odin to try and get remove the FTM version. This worked fine but I was a little surprised to see all my apps and data had remained intact (I now wonder if this is normal) and that I still had the crash issue (i.e. Keis had installed the latest firmware and the BTU November firmware had not overwritten it fully). Working on the assumption that I did not have the reset/crash issue in November. I did a reset and cleared the cash in recovery mode and tried to reinstall the same November BTU firmware using Odin. This was on the assumption that if I installed using Keis I would have got the latest FTM firmware again. The reinstall using Odin failed giving a cant find PIT file error and reporting an MMC Read failure and Flash write failure on the phone screen. I then reconnected my phone to Keis and tried to reinstall the FTM firmware and got the same errors with the blue status bar on the phone screen about 10% complete.
When I boot the phone it comes up with a message saying that "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, please select recovery mode in Kies and try again"
I tried the emergency firmware install in Keis and Smart Switch but neither can see the device.
The phone will still go into upload mode (dwn vol, home and power).
Is this a hardware issue or some other issue (e.g. No PIT file causing a memory write issue).
Am I correct in thinking that this is a SM-N910F originally from Orange France?
I am completely out of my depth.
Best regards,
Bob
