Hi I work for a store which has samsung tablets on display. My job is to remove demo on these tablets, the only way to do this is too reinstall the filmwareare using download mode. But every time I have tried to install the new filmware on the tablet using Odin it's gets so far then says thread error and fails. I have tried a couple of different stock filmwares and had no luck any help thanks.

Are these full spec Tablets or demonstration versions?
If demo they will not have the full hardware installed.

If full versions, see if you can put into Recovery Mode and wipe cache then wipe data/factory reset.

If you can post the odin screen log it will give us a better idea of what's going on.

This is a full spec tablet. You can't put the tablet in recovery mode due to it been blocked on the tablet because it's in demo mode . Can't post Odin at the moment as I'm not at work

Yes, I guess it has a modified bootloader so that customers cannot break into it.
Replacing with a stock bootloader is the answer.

....and no, I do not know off hand where to find one.
It;s going to take a Google search.

Flashing the firmware with a PIT file should aslo remove any of the previous modified firmware:

Looks like a process error.
Check :
1. You are using an original quality USB lead.
2. Connect directly to the PC usb port and not through a USB hub.
3. Try another USB port.
4. Try another Odin version (3.07)
5. Make sure Kies and Odin are not running together.
6. Check any antivirus is not blocking
