Exclusive Adobe Premiere Rush app for Samsung devices available now

Adobe today released the Premiere Rush video editing app for Android. The exclusive version that Samsung talked about at the Galaxy S10 launch is now available as well. Adobe initially launched this app for iOS late last year. It’s meant for those who want to edit videos on the go.

Starting today, users of select Samsung smartphones can download the Premiere Rush for Samsung app from the Galaxy Store. Samsung only mentions that this version is “fully optimized for Galaxy smartphones.”

Adobe Premiere Rush for Samsung is out now

Premiere Rush is quite a capable tool for video creation as it harnesses the power of Adobe’s professional grade Premiere Pro. Features include graphics creations, AI audio clean up, Motion Graphics templates, audio mixing and more. There are easy resizing options and fully customizable animated title templates so that users can create perfect videos for their social media. All videos and edits are saved to the cloud so they can work on their projects at any time on any device.

Samsung says that Premiere Rush for Samsung has a “full suite” of features optimized for its devices. The features include GPU optimization for improved editing performance. It claims that exporting videos on the Galaxy S10 is 70 percent faster than previous devices. HDR10+ and Samsung DeX support provide users with more workspace options. Galaxy users who subscribe to Premiere Rush will get unlimited video exports, 100GB of cloud storage, and a 20 percent discount for one year which takes the price down to $7.99 per month. There’s a free starter trial version which only allows export of up to three projects.

Adobe Premiere Rush for Samsung is now available for download from the Galaxy Store. You’ll need a Galaxy S10 or Galaxy S9 series device to use it or the Galaxy Note 9. Samsung says that the app will be supported on more Galaxy phones in the near future.

  • Excellent, thanks for the heads up Adnan. Definitely something I can use for work. Downloading it right now on the Note9.

  • It's obviously a very buggy app, must be in BETA. As soon as I exited the app my phone screen went blank and my phone rebooted (S10+). Also I can't believe you have to pay for exports. I thought this was an exclusive deal with the S10's the way it was presented to us at unpacked... not impressed

  • Hey Sammobile, can you please upload the premiere apk into your app store so that everyone can download it.

  • Not sure if Samsung made a deal with Adobe, but if it's the same as the Premiere Rush in the PlayStore, you will only get to export 3 projects and then you will need to pay a subscription. Basically useless, unless you pay monthly.

    • Totally agree, I was so hyped for this apk to be launched ... and now when I need to pay $9 a month just to use it, I find it useless. If they at least gave a Galaxy S10 users like 10 free exports PER MONTH, that might be okay, but like this... there is just no use.

  • Doesnt appear in the Galaxy Store in Portugal but using your link in the text makes it appear on the store, cheers!!!
