Your Samsung phone unlocks ‘Secret Menu’ items in these UK restaurants

Of all the reasons that you might want to buy a Samsung smartphone, this one has to do with food. There have long been legends about some of the biggest fast food chains on the planet having secret menus with items that are only sold to those who know about them. That may or may not be true depending on who you ask but Samsung has taken that concept to heart.

The company has teamed up with four restaurant chains in the United Kingdom for a “Secret Menu.” These dishes will only be revealed to the customers who scan a tabletop AR code at the restaurant with a Samsung phone.

The restaurants – Bill’s, The Breakfast Club, Patty & Bun, and Pizza Pilgrim – have created some new dishes that only Samsung smartphone owners can order. Samsung doesn't actually detail the dishes they have created so you'll have to pop into one of their locations to find out.

Ordering these dishes is fairly simple. Just head over to the restaurant, find a Secret Menu and look for the AR Code. Once you scan the code with your phone, you can unlock the exclusive dishes. Whether or not they will be worth the trip is another matter altogether. This will only work if you use a Samsung phone. So either you don't eat like the cool kids and stick to the regular menu or get a Samsung phone. If that doesn't work for you, maybe just ask a friend to help you out with their Galaxy.
