[Update: Korea, too] Galaxy S4 Black edition receives Android 5.0.1 Lollipop!

Good news, owners of the Galaxy S4 Black Edition! Despite being the handsome phone that the S4 Black Edition is, it still requires firmware updates and the likes as any other phone on the market. Which is why, Samsung has announced the much anticipated Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update for the phone.

If you’re from the UK, rejoice; however, if you belong to any other part of the world, you will have to wait a bit to get the update, for it is live only in the UK as of now. UK users of the Galaxy S4 Black Edition, let us know how it goes for you; meanwhile, we hope the update reaches other parts of the world soon!

Update: Lollipop is now rolling out to the Galaxy S4 Black Edition in South Korea as well, and you can grab the firmware from our firmware section or get the over-the-air update from the Settings » About phone » Software updates menu.
