Exclamation [HELP] Revert Back to original firmware - Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000

    Hello Friends,

To start with, i've rooted my Galaxy Note and it was working absolutely awesome and then i came accross a new jellybean mod by Nightlies called CyanogenMod 10.

To be very honest now, i'm not liking the mod, it still has lots of buggs to be fixed and i want it removed off my fone and just want to keep the phone with the original OS and original settings.

I tried going through a lot of guides and original firmware links which don't exist anymore. The links on SamMobile's page of firmwares are dead as well.

If someone could guide me get my original galaxy note back with original setting and if possible provide me with the mirrors of stock ICS roms for Indian note, i'd really be thankful.

Summary: Getting Galaxy Note to it's original ICS RoM. Keeping it rooted would be fine.

P.S. I'm not a pro, i go through guides and I'm still learning.

    Regards,
    Mazhar

Just go to FIRMWARE on Sammobile.
In Search put 7000 for a list of firmware for your Note.
    Choose any, and download.
Unzip once and put .tar file in PDA box of Odin.

TIP: Before flashing backup your data with Kies.
Put phone into Recovery Mode and Clear Cache then Clear Data/Factory reset.

PS Any firmware flashing will remove root.

First if all you can check for the brickbug with the app from the Play Store.
Secondly, the problem arises only if you factory reset through CWM recovery.
Factory Reset through your Settings and no problem.

I am on 4.1.2 now with CWM recovery.
How to go back to original firmware?
Previously I have tried from odin, it flashed but cannot boot, so i have to restored it from the CWM.

    1. so 3 wipes from CWM or reset phone from settings?
    2. reboot to flashing mode(volume down + home + power)
    3. flash firmware by odin

    is that all?
    thanks in advance

Better still, why not try the test release?
It's android 4.1.2, and is said to be working well:
