I have a Note with ATT, how do I get rid of BT paired headsets?

After I paired my XOOM tablet it seems to be the first that the phone searches for, thus making pairing my Note longer to pair. I used to be able to turn on my BT headset when the phone started ringing and answer, now it takes too long.

    Thanks

If you have not solved this yet...

Just basic troubleshooting, but have you tried un-pairing your XOOM tablet?

In Settings > Bluetooth > Select 'cog' next to device you want to unpair and you have that option.
