unregistered to network does not mean the phone has an simlock, it means it cannot register on your network
so this is an simcard / provider issue

you can check the lock state by typing *#7465625# on the phone, as i can see in your log the unlock of the phone is successfull
all locks should have state off

next step for you is contact your customer service of the provider

    hi, thanks for reply

yes all locks are stated as off

when i put orange sim in it wanted a network passcode or something

i just thought that when it stated unlocked you'd be able to put any sim in?

do you mean get hold of customer service of my current provider or that provider of the new sim i'm trying to use?

    thanks

the new provider... can you post me a picture of what "network passcode" it's asking for ?
maybe it's just the pincode of the simcard itself
