Android 4.0 ICS for GIO

Does Anyone know when will it be available the version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich?

And will it work on our GIO's?

I'd say that we shouldn't mind about a date but about the question if there will ever be a 4.0 Firmware for the Gio. According to the news it should be possible (for all Gingerbread phones) but I'd not be so sure that Samsung does it.

Well, afaik nearly all the device drivers must be rewritten for ICS. When I look at, for example, XDA it doesn't seem like this is going to happen. So, if Samsung doesn't do it the chance for ICS on the Gio is pretty small.
But I'd love to be wrong with that ;-)

Of course you can, but themes are just themes, it's still android 2.3.x that you have, not the real thing.

ICS would be nice for GIO. But if it uses more battary i would only use it a short time.
