s5260 screen problem

hi,

i'm a n00b in flashing so i have a s5260 star 2 with official firmware from vodafone spain and i tryed to flash it because i wanted bulgarian lenguage. I used S5260XXKA7_OXA and it worked well but now the screen is reverted upside down with only 3-4 colours. I tryed to flash it again using S5260XEKA6 but same result. I used MultiLoaderX V5.65.

Sounds like some weird coincidence to me...maybe the hardware of your phone (i.e. mainboard, lcd, connector) got scr*wed up somehow by a drop, moisture or maybe your phone was made on a monday...or a friday...

Anyway, in this case, I'd take it to a service center to have it examined more closely if I was in your shoes...

it's completely new i mean it went from the box to the charger and then to the usb to be flashed... how can i know which is it's original firmware?

Glad u figured it out...But really...I don't want to be naggin' but the S5260 IS a Star 2 (as you say in your initial post) and the S5620 is a Monte...a complete different phone!! I'd say you're really lucky your phone's still working at all...
