ICS galaxy note n7000 xeu (uk) when!!

to anybody out there.

does anyone know, or reckon to know when samsung will push ics for the sim free note (csc xeu) for the uk?, i read a post earlier today on one of samsung's facebook pages, and some dude reckoned we in the uk will get it monday? 28th may? is this correct? if so where do some people get this info from

hope someone can shed some much needed light on this subject

Hope I'm posting this in right place. This seems to be about the ota update.
Well, mine went wrong:

tried to update earlier this week as i had the notification. It seemed to work but then when it restarted got stuck at the samsung logo during boot.. I can get to the e3 recovery but when i put a zip file on an sd card and try to use it, I get told it's not passed signing verification tet so won't go any further
I've tried a few roms now but none seem to be signed.
Does anyone know which is definitely a signed rom. Don't care if it's gingerbread, just want to be able to boot again.
If I'm doing the totally wrong thing plase let me know.

additional info. Phone will not appear in pc odin. Phone is detected ny heimdall but can't do anything with it. Adb finds the phone in recovery (e3) mode but can't do much as it's not root. Could be the pc I'm connecting to as it's very old now. Can't get to another one for along time.

Don't think I should need to be doing all that anyway, as I've only ever had the stock stuff on there, but it's like my only choice if I want to save my data. (pictures videos etc.
What use is the samsung stock recovery if it can't flash samsung stock roms? That's all I wanna do. If I am correct in thinking this should work please let me know I'm not going crazy, and also if you know which rom should work. Should I not be getting the rom in the first place, should I be getting the bootloader only or something else? I have no idea. I have only had to learn about all this since the ota update failed.

Just an update on my situation. I finally manage to get use of another computer and got it to work properly, so managed to flash the stock ICS rom through odin.

Thanks a lot Samsung for forcing me to put the yellow triangle on my device. At least there are people willing to help with fixing mobile phones' software, even if the manufacturers themselves don't care about you losing all your data. I managed to get everything back. Nothing was lost. If only they allowed you to flash the stock rom from their stock recovery. It's ridiculous that it doesn't
