I guess the big question now is does anyone know if this phone can be rooted yet?? I don't want to mod it, but I need it rooted in order to run a proxy on it.
Hey, I just bought the S7500L in Chile, and when i enter *#1234# I get this
PDA: S7500LVSLB1
PHONE: S7500LVJLB3
CSC: S7500LTFGLB1
Would it help anyone if I somehow managed to upload this FW? I'd like to contribute to a safe rooting solution.

Thank you guys, I had exactly the same trouble trying to root with the s7500 .img, my phone's screen would only turn on for a few seconds by pressing the on/off button and only showed the lockscreen, and sometimes if i was lucky enough by sliding my finger from right to left after unlocking i was able to use the phone normaly until the screen tuned off again. But using the Trinidad and Tobago fixed the problem. Thanks again. Sorry for my bad english
