Unhappy Samsung Galaxy S3 stuck at " Samsung Galaxy S III boot GT-I9300" boot/logo screen

RE: Can someone provide a hyperlink for the GT-I9300_mx_20120220.pit file?

I am unable to get into Android System Recovery(3e) on my GT-I9300(i.e. it no longer exist on my phone). Rather only download mode is accessible.

Flashing the stock ROM via the Oden GUI doesn't work. Rather, the process sees and adds the phone, starts the flashing process on the phone, then it just fails every time.
Three different versions of Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 stock ROM(Android OS version 4.0.4, 4.1.1 & 4.1.2) yeilds the same result. Rebooting the PC, phone, unplugging the USB cable and plugging it back in doesn't help either. Ditto for reseatting the phone's battery.
Additionally, the Kies Recovery process was a waste of time.

Thus, I would like to try re-partitioning the phone via the .pit file.
Then attempt to flash stock ROM again via the ODin GUI.

    Other suggestions welcomed!

Can someone tell me where I can download the GT-I9300_mx_20120220.pit file(i.e.
    provide an actual hyperlink)?

    Type: Samsung Galaxy S 3
    Model: GT-I9300
    Storage: 16GB

    Unbrick method I tried

Rather than give a PIT file, when I lost Recovery mode on my S3 this link was helpful:

I appreciate your willingness to help Greenman.
Can you provide a valid hyperlink for the CMW file you used?
The hyperlink for CMW in the url you provided is no longer
    valid.

    Hello repsoldiesel,

No I did not kill the Kies process.
Rather it runs, downloads the firmware and tries to apply it.
For some reason it can't apply the recovery firmware. Kies doesn't display an error.
Rather it just starts over and waits for me to initiate the firmware download process again.
I tried this via Kies on two different PCs. Same result.
This is not something Kies can handle.

Think @ repdoldiesel was referring to the fact that you must not have Kies running when using Odin. The two conflict with each other.

Another link to installing Cwm here, or use Rom Manager from the Play Store :
