Samsung has installed one more Onyx Cinema LED screen in Malaysia, the fourth in the country. The latest one has been installed in TGV Cinemas at the new Central i-City shopping mall in Shah Alam. It is a 14 meter Onyx screen, the largest in the world.

First unveiled in South Korea in July 2017, Samsung's revolutionary cinema screens have gradually made their way into select theatres in 16 countries across the world. The largest, 14 meter Onyx screens, however, are available only in India, China and Malaysia.

Onyx Cinema LED is the future

Samsung has been pitching the Onyx Cinema LED screens to replace the traditional projector-system cinema screens in theaters around the world. Not only do Onyx screens bring larger visuals, they also offer 4K image quality, HDR capabilities, and unprecedented brightness and contrast. Paired with Onyx Sound, an innovative audio solution by Harman and Samsung’s Audio Lab, Onyx screens offer an immersive viewing experience to the audience.

TGV Cinemas at Central i-City shopping mall also has premium, adjustable auto-glide reclining chairs. The chairs can be adjusted to get the best and most comfortable viewing experience, wherever you may be seated. Samsung has also installed charging stations throughout the vicinity of the TGV Cinemas. There are several wireless charging pads as well as USB-powered charging ports around the lounge for you to charge your device while waiting for your movie.
