It has been quite some time since Samsung upgraded its high-end Galaxy Tab lineup of tablets. The Galaxy Tab S was released back in July 2014, and it's almost time for the official announcement of the Galaxy Tab S 2. Months back, we exclusively reported the specifications of the Galaxy Tab S 2, and today we have details regarding its pricing.

The Wi-Fi only variants of the Galaxy Tab S 2 8.0 (SM-T710) and the Galaxy Tab S 2 9.7 (SM-T810) will come with price tags of €399 and €499 respectively. The cellular variant of the Galaxy Tab S 2 9.7 (SM-T815), which comes with 4G LTE connectivity, will be priced at €589. This tablet will feature a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, and will feature an Exynos 5433 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, and Wi-Fi ac/b/g/n in a metallic body that is 5.4 mm thin. The 8-inch and 9.7-inch variants of this tablet will feature 3,580 mAh and 5,870 mAh batteries respectively.

The Galaxy Tab E (SM-T560), an entry-level tablet with a 9.7-inch display that Samsung already announced in India, will be priced at €199 internationally. This tablet runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and features a 9.7-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, and a 5,000 mAh battery. This tablet is expected to hit the retail shelves by the end of this month in Taiwan, but its launch date for the international markets is not known as of now.
