After announcing its first ever Tizen powered smartphone in the Indian market some weeks back, Samsung has gone ahead to launch the Z1 in the neighboring Bangladeshi market. The device has been priced 6,900 BDT (US$88) in the country, which isn't bad at all considering that buyers will also be getting 300 minutes worth of calls (Robi to Robi) and 100 minutes of cross-network calls besides 1GB of data. “We have customized the Z1 to meet the unique requirements of the local Bangladeshi consumers for a personal and reliable mobile experience, so they upgrade to a smartphone,” said a Samsung spokesperson at launch. The phone will be available starting 4th February, in Red, Black and White colour variants.
