Samsung's TouchWiz UX is generally known for abundance of software features but the version of TouchWiz which comes pre-installed on the Galaxy Note series of smartphones has even more features. Sometimes, it's hard to find out these features, so Samsung has listed and explained 10 such hidden software features of the Galaxy Note 4 on their official blog. You might not realise the sheer number of thoughtful software features that Samsung  introduced with the Galaxy Note 4 so it has explained some of the nifty features such as Link Preview, Meeting Mode in voice recorder, Caller Information, and One-Handed Mode.

    1. Link Preview inside Messenger apps – A nifty little feature which saves your time by previewing web links received in messenger apps inside a preview pop up window. You can just hover the S Pen over the link to preview the contents inside the URL.

    6. Click Selfie using the HRM sensor – Due to a large screen, sometimes it becomes tedious to click on the on-screen shutter button while shooting an image. In the Galaxy Note 4, you can easily click selfie (self-portrait) by tapping on the heart-rate sensor with your finger.

    7. Sound Detector – When you are using headphones with the Note 4, the device can alert you when it identifies sounds like the door bell ringing or a baby crying so that you don't miss out on such things.

Google Chrome to get a feature that Samsung has had since 2015

Screenshots are a wonderful thing. They let you quickly take a snapshot of whatever's on your screen. So you can use them to save something you might find useful in the future or to have dirt on your enemies, assuming you're the kind of person that has enemies. Scrolling screenshots are even more wonderful. A […]

Ah, the Galaxy Note 4. It's perhaps the last “true” Note flagship if you ask some of the diehard fans, and for good reason, too. It was the last Note to come with a removable battery or an IR blaster. When the Galaxy Note 5 came along, the Note 4 was also temporarily the last […]
