    ‘Expert Level’ UHD UD970 monitor launched

    Samsung Electronics today added an “expert-level” Ultra High Definition monitor to its lineup. It is geared towards professional graphic designers, game developers, photographers and others who constantly need high quality monitors to go about their business. Samsung first showed off this monitor at CES 2014.

    The 31.5-inch Samsung UD970 display features 3840×2160 pixel resolution and boasts a color palette of 1.07 billion colors which according to Samsung gives images and videos “more natural expression.” Its capable of displaying four inputs side by side using Quad Windows Picture-by-Picture. Framed with metal, the UD970 comes with two DisPlay Port connections, DVI-DL, USB 3.0 and HDMI.

    Samsung UD970 costs 2.09 million won down in South Korea, pricing and availability information for other markets has not been revealed as yet.
