There’s a lot of stuff that happens in the mobile industry, something that is especially true when it comes to giants like Samsung. If you missed out on some (or all) of what happened in the last 24 hours or so, well, here’s a recap of all the big things that went down.

We published multiple exclusives, giving our readers hardware details on the Galaxy Note 4, and high-resolution pictures of the Galaxy S5 Mini and the Galaxy Tab S, along with benchmark details of the former. Reports came in suggesting that Samsung is working on a foldable tablet for a 2015 launch, and is looking at mass producing Quantum Dot LCD displays later this year. On the software side, Android 4.4.2 KitKat rolled out to the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 in the US, making it the first budget tablet from the Korean manufacturer to be updated to the latest version of the OS.

    Here’s the full rundown:

As usual, a lot of devices got general firmware updates as well, so here’s a list of all the updates that rolled to Samsung devices yesterday (as always, you can download all these firmware and more from our firmware section):

Now, before you reach for those pitchforks, let me say that the words in the title aren't mine or one of my colleagues' at SamMobile. They come straight from Samsung, or at least from the company's Samsung Members app, from a section on official performance tips for the Galaxy Note 8. And, frankly, if we […]
