you know i’ve tried many apple devices, aluminum is nice but there is one major problem with it. and its why i thank god that samsung still makes plastic devices.
aluminum (apple) devices have low wifi reception! and i tried everything from new iphone5/5s to ipad and ipad mini. and all have less wifi reception than samsung s3 and lg g2 (especially g2, that thing is like a little laptop. its wifi magnet! :)

i came to the conclusion that the problem came from the aluminum case; thats based on my electrical engineering background and the fact that all ipads with LTE come with a small black antenna on the top back portion, that when you touch your gonna find its not aluminum, but more of a matte or a plastic material. thats actually plastic! and i checked.
