Samsung sold more than 200 million Galaxy S handsets

At its MWC event in Barcelona, Samsung announced that it has sold over 200 million handsets since the first Galaxy S device went on sale in 2010. Samsung announced at the same time last year that it has crossed 100 million sales, so over the course of a year, it has managed to sell another 100 million Galaxy S branded handsets. The Galaxy S4 notched over 40 million sales since its launch last March, while other devices like the S4 Mini were also well-received.

Samsung’s latest flagship handset, the Galaxy S5, has the potential to be a game changer, much the same way the Galaxy S4 was one of the most sough-after devices last year. While the Galaxy S5 does look similar to the Galaxy S4 from the front, a host of enhancements, both in the hardware and software segment mean that the device is faster, loaded with more features and is easier to use. The Galaxy S5 will be available in over 150 countries from April 11th. Will you be getting one? Let us know below.

Basically, the Galaxy S5 is just a refined GALAXY S4?

Yeah maybe I need to see it before I decide to upgrade from my GS3.

You may have felt the S4 wasn’t enough of an upgrade over the S3 to bother upgrading, and many with the S4 will feel the same way about the S5. Those with the S3 should see enough of an upgrade in the S5 to be very happy with the improved performance. Those with a Note 3 will obviously not see a good reason to go with the S5.

If you LIKE your S3, then you will probably love the S5.

I think ISOCELL has been a long time in development and it’s as cutting edge as AMOLED Displays were in 2010!

Imagine this; Samsung has sold more smartphones than Apple, Nokia, Lenovo, Sony, HTC, Motorola and Huawei combined in 2013 alone! That’s 315 Million smartphones vs less than half that for all iPhone models combined. In just Smartphones (forget that they are the #1 Electronics Conglomerate in the World) sales alone, they have managed to come from behind in less than 3.5 yrs to own the entire industry.

This Galaxy S 5 is a whole lot more than meets the eye. The camera alone is worth the upgrade. When you add in all the other little things too numerous to count, this phone is on a whole new level from it’s competition! …they are quite simply the BIG BOSS in this Smartphone Game Now!

I mean a 100 Million Galaxy S’s sold last year and you add almost 52 Million Galaxy Notes (total now over 78 Million) and that’s 152 Million Flagship Smartphones alone bought by Smarter People for more Samsung Premium phones than Apple’s cheap old models and new models combined!
