It seems Korean mobile carriers aren't the only ones testing a Tizen smartphone – Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo is doing the same, and a Tizen phone with model number SC-03F has appeared in a user agent string on Samsung's website. NTT DoCoMo has been reported to be pressuring Samsung into a quick launch of the first Tizen phone, and while Samsung might not complete the necessary work on time, it looks like DoCoMo is doing all it can at its own end.

The SC-03F has a 720p screen, and runs on Tizen 2.2 – most Tizen phones that are out in the wild seem to have a 720p display, so it looks like the OS doesn't support higher-resolution screens at the moment, though the handset should be running a newer version of Tizen when it launches. There's another DoCoMo Tizen device in development, the SGH-N055, and we'll be sure to let you guys know if and when we receive further information about either device.
