There’s no information if we’ll ever see a limited edition Galaxy Note 3 with a flexible display but Samsung has confirmed that a curved display smartphone is indeed coming soon. If we were to take Reuters word, we’ll see it in October in South Korea while Yonhap News pins it sometime in Q4.

According to Park Sang-jin, Samsung SDI CEO, the new smartphone won’t exactly be a flexible panel but rather a curved one using plastic liquid crystal displays because they’re strong enough to neither shatter even when dropped on the ground nor need frames.

We'll try to dig some info and will report back if we hear more about it from our sources.
