First Tizen device will be released in 2013

We reported earlier that Samsung will release their first Tizen device in 2013, now it’s confirmed. Cheng Luo who is a platform evangelist at Samsung has confirmed that they will release their first Tizen device in 2013. He also mentioned some other interesting things, like that HTML5 is overhyped because its limited by its frame rate, a higher frame rate results in a smoother interface. It’s not a surprise that the frame rate of HTML5 is lower than native apps since we already saw that with Mozilla’s FireFox OS. Cheng Luo also said that its important to have industry support to move forward and to succeed, without strong partners its impossible to build a strong ecosystem.
We are looking forward to see Samsung’s first Tizen device.
