The Samsung Galaxy Note II has a gorgeous 5.55″ Super AMOLED HD Display with a resolution of 1280×720 (720p), giving the screen a perfect 16:9 aspect ratio. Even though the Note II has a large display and a massive battery of 3,100 MAh (Original Galaxy Note was 2,500MAh),  it’s only 9.4mm thick. The Samsung Galaxy Note II is PACKED with performance, consisting of a Quad-Core Exynos 4412 chip clocked at 1.6GHz and a Quad-Core Mali-400MP GPU clocked at 400MHz.
The Galaxy Note II is Samsung’s first device to run Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box. Samsung is using their TouchWiz Nature UX on the Galaxy Note II, just like on the Galaxy S III. Samsung has optimized their software a lot by adding various features and apps used by the S-Pen. Also, S-Pen is all new in the Note II as well, It’s much more accurate responsive and faster.  The Galaxy Note II also captures outstanding High-Res Pictures and Full 1080p HD Videos thanks to it’s 8MP Rear Camera Sensor. Tonight Samsung announced the new Samsung ATIV S at IFA 2012 in Berlin.
This is Samsung’s first smartphone based on Windows Phone 8.
Samsung will bring this smartphone to the market in Q4 of 2012 for a price of  €549.

- Samsung Galaxy Player 5.8
We gave you the first glimpse of new Galaxy Player and Samsung has now announced the said PMP as Galaxy Player 5.8. The features remain unchanged from the last leak that includes Android 4.0 OS, 5.8-inch qHD (960×540) display, TouchWiz UI, Learning Hub, megapixel camera, VGA camera on the front, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, two front speakers, SoundAlive, 16/32GB memory, microSD card slot and 2500mah battery.

    Every website I have seen including this one has stated the update would be officially ANNOUNCED today.. no where said it would be available to download today so why start moaning. If you’ve not read or understood it properly then that’s your problem. Yes I want jellybean for my s3 but I also read it properly and didn’t get my hopes up for a release today

    Infact quoted from this very website ” Samsung will give official WORD of s3 jelly bean update on 29th of august”. Doesn’t say anywhere there that the actual update will be on the 29th. If your so excited that you can’t wait and have to pitch and moan at other people about it not being on your phone NOW then flash the leaked version and shutout

    Good news Samsung will start the Jelly Bean updates next week.
    The International Samsung Galaxy S III will get the first updates by KIES or OTA.
    We of SamMobile tweeted and posted this many times but today Android Central reported that too.
    Last week we saw the first leaked version based on Android 4.1.1 for the Galaxy S III.
    If everything goes according to plan you will be able to update your Galaxy S III from August 29th.
    This is the same day that Samsung show the next generation of the Galaxy Note at IFA in Berlin.

    This was posted in here last week. and you said you read properly? what do you understand when someone tell you, ( you will be able to update via KIES OR OTA) isn’t the same to download? Honestly the update should be available by now, but I don’t really care wait a bit more

    Another reason why to not buy a Samsung phone, I do own Samsung Galaxy S2, Note, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy S3, and yet i still buy those just cause IPhone 4S is out-dated at the moment, I wish Iphone 5 would be released soon at least Apple do release things at the said date. I can’t bother with Samsung anymore they say, this and that will be released at this date and yet nothing happens. same happened to the wierless charger for the Galaxy S3.

    One of the ways that samsung has found to draw attention to this event, started by the lie that there would be an update to the jelly bean of s3.
    Far from being a successful marketing strategy, could be a crass commercial error, which only discredits the brand to its most loyal users, among which I have no problem including me, and that will make me think if so I will continue in the future.

    Radeonxt, Could it be cause Apple products are way over the quality of Samsung products? Apple doesn’t have to release a new Phone every month to be able to compitet with other manufacturers.     leerock360, call it useless if you may but I’ve been running JB for a whileeeeeeeee now, if they really want JB that much then they can either download CM10, AOKP, or one of the T-Mobile, International build roms and yes they have a build for all the US varients as well. I’m just saying, Samsung nor Sammobile owe anyone anything. So have a nice day ;)

    I agree the only REAL difference I see is Google Now and you can download that for ICS if you’re rooted. The expandable notifications is VERY overrated and Because my GSIII is SO fast you really don’t notice the difference in speed/ responsiveness.

    I download the last leak version of 4.1.1 and the phone recognise was normal firmware for me is very good because its official, the other version it don`t appear was normal in the phone mode.
