   What is the need of the wireless charging kit if i have to place my device on it all the recharging time ?!

   I thought that you will be able to ask your device to charge wirelessly because the wireless charger is around and you are so lazy to go and connect regular charger

   totally agree, i think this is intended for show off mostly, however but this thing is going to be handy once manufactures starts to build them in cars (i think volvo has this in some models already-however i may be wrong)
