Vodafone UK: Galaxy S II ICS update: April 12th
Vodafone UK has just taken the very brave step of putting an actual date on the arrival of its Android 4.0 update for Samsung’s Galaxy S II.
It looks like all providers in UK are getting all updates before the OPEN version.
Vodafone:
The Android Ice Cream Sandwich update for Samsung Galaxy S II has now been approved, and is set to be available on 12th April via Over The Air update and Samsung KIES. This is a provisional date which could change, but we’ll let you know here if that’s the case.
At the moment many countries are still waiting on Android 4.0 for the Galaxy S II.
When Samsung is done for more than 75% they will start with the Galaxy Note.

When this device was announced many galaxy fans and others saved money to get the divice sim free to get thhe updates before carrer locked galaxy s2 and now the update isn’t comming out?? I think that they are not following the best possible path… I never expected for the ics update for sgs2 to become available before the release of the sgs3 but at least they shouldn’t have updated the carrier locked devices and promise the update for all galaxy s 2 users…
