Samsung won 2 awards at GSMA’s Global Mobile Awards

Samsung has won 2 awards in Barcelona at GSMA’s Global Mobile Awards which  is the hosted by the GSM Association . The first award that Samsung has won is the award for the category  ‘Best Smartphone’ which they have won with the Galaxy S2. The Galaxy S2 has beated the Apple’s iPhone 4S, Nokia Lumia 800,  HTC Desire S and Galaxy Nexus.

According to the judges they have made their decision on the fact that the Galaxy S 2 is worldwide hitseller and that the device was important for the growth and the majority of the Android platform.

The second award that Samsung has won is the award for Device Manufacturer of the Year due their succes and innovation in almost every category plus they have outperform their competitors which isn’t an easy job.

Samsung’s President of IT & Mobile Communications Division JK Shin was very pleased and honored with both awards. He said that the awards are a testament for Samsung for their innovation, quality products and satisfying consumer expectations. About the Galaxy S2 he was proud how the device has changed the market and the user experience and that the device has set the standard for a few elements of a smartphone like screen, speed and content.

    Samsung is the best ATM.
    I’m sticking with Samsung on 2012 replacing my absolutely great SGS2 with the sure-to-be-amazing SGS3 ;)
